A hydraulic block is an important component in a hydraulic system, usually a compact square structure with multiple internal passages to allow oil to flow through it, used to control a wide range of mechanical equipment such as cars, excavators, upgrading tables, industrial machines and so on. - The machining cycle is long and the machining costs are relatively high.
- When the oil pressure is relatively high, turbulence tends to form in some connection areas (right angles) and the oil cannot flow, which not only leads to a lack of power, but also accumulates impurities and eventually leads to the failure of the whole system.
- There is a risk of oil leakage.
In order to overcome these problems, some hydraulic equipment companies at home and abroad have tried to use 3D printing technology to manufacture hydraulic blocks. In terms of practical results, 3D printing has the following advantages.

Our customer has redesigned a hydraulic block based on the 3D printing process and its weight has been reduced from the original 30 kg to 5.5 kg. The internal oil channels were optimised, eliminating various right angles and shortening the overall length of the oil channels, resulting in smooth oil flow and more stable operation.
